Oh my goodness, today was SO funny! Elisabeth was cracking me up!!
I taught her how to do butterfly kisses, doggy kisses, fishy kisses, Belle kisses, and people kisses.
Butterfly kisses: blinking eyelashes on their cheek.
Doggy kisses: rubbing noses together.
Fishy kisses: make fish lips and kiss.
Belle kisses: (basically french kisses) kiss on both cheeks.
People kisses:....well. just a normal kiss.
So she just got a crack out of all of these kisses, and in between each one she would say "Tight squeeze!" and give me a huge hug! (she was sitting on my lap). And then once we had gone through the whole list of kisses a few times she started making up weird named kisses that ended up just being a normal kiss, or a kiss on the cheek. UNTIL. After a really silly "tight squeeze" she said "MAN KISSES!" and shoved her face right against my chest, then she just rested her head there for a few seconds, sat back up and grinned this huge cheeser grin. I asked, "Ellie, what are 'Man kisses'?" and she said, "MAN KISSES!" and again stuck her face right against my chest! Oh my heavens, I started laughing SO hard I couldnt breathe for at least 30 seconds! I just had to get on and blog about it. hah. Anyway, I've got to go, but I just thought I'd warn everyone about the new "Man kisses". hehe. Beware!
Oh how children know so much, and yet so little at the same time.
