Bummer Deal

On wednesday my little brother, Tyson, came home from school complaining that he didnt feel very well. By that night he was throwing up like every ten minutes. On thursday he couldnt even move, he just layed down all day, and that night my mom took him to the doctor, after running some tests they said he had appendicitis and they sent him straight to the ER. All night long they poked and proded him, and he never complained once. He went into surgery last night around 12:45 and he is doing a little better now. Please everyone pray for him to have a quick recovery. Anyway, thats about it, I know this one is really short but I have to run. Im going for a lunch picnic with my little sister, Britni. xoxo

Gatsby Night

I just had the greatest weekend ever! Friday I went and saw Indiana Jones (so corny) and then on saturday I went to a super fun reception and then.....GATSBY NIGHT! It was a BLAST! I recommend throwing a "Gatsby Night Party" to everyone! And, bonus, I just found out how to post pictures so here come a bunch of them! Prepare yourself for a surge of jealousy! xoxo

We had a blast. The night consisted of Chancy the bartender, the origional 69'er (created by Kelly and myslef), poker, cigarettes, and necking. (if you would like more details let me know! ;) )

What is this feeling?

Ok, so I just got done watching my cousin's kids while they went to a BBall game. And lucky me got to watch High School Musical 2!! :) Yay. (ps. writing this in a very monotone voice) And for some reason every time I watch that movie I always get this icky feeling inside me. Its so familiarly haunting/nauseating. I mean seriously, high school was never like that. And I'm sorry girls, but we all know that Zac is gay. So anyway, I just thought I'd come blog for a second about how much I dislike ("hate", I've just learned is a bad word.) HSM. And much to my dismay, I hear there's going to be a third one in the fall.

On a happier note, Im going to vegas in a few weeks to visit fam! I absolutely ADORE vegas. I think (besides manhattan, and the beach, of course) Its my favorite place to be. I love my family there, and we always go swimming, and horseback riding, etc. etc. We just have so much fun together, its so great!

Oh yeah, so guess what I made the other day. And Im talking made. A swimming suit!! Yeah, thats right. Me, who doesnt ever sew anything, made a swimming suit! And its so cute too! I didnt even have to use a design or pattern or whatever its called! haha, I think Jess and I are going to go to the Res for a splash later today. (btw. its another great day today. I think its supposed to get up to the high 80's-low 90's this afternoon! yipee!) Anyway, I'd best be off, I have to bathe my dog, or maybe I'll just bring her swimming with us.......oooh good idea. I dont know why I bother though, she'll just get dirty again tomorrow. How is it that dogs get so dirty so quickly? Oh well. xoxo

Springshmitz for Lunatics

Isn't it a wonderful day?? I couldn't be happier right now. It is warm. Like really warm, I have great plans for the weekend, I made a really cute swimming suit, and right at this very second I am eating a wonderful blueberry donut! (It sounds gross, but really its just about the greatest donut ever!)(Speaking of donuts, the title of this blog is dedicated to Hayley, I miss you tons!)

Yesterday was a blast! Jess, Bre, Les, and I all got together for dinner! (We were so sad Tasha couldn't come! We love you!) And we had a blast! Jess and I then went home and got ready for salsa dancing-my new favorite pastime! Unfortunately there weren't that many cute boys this time, and they all were really sweaty and gross. So we decided to bail on that idea and drove around for a while. Jess learned how to drive a stick shift! And she picked it up super fast! I was quite impressed. Then we decided drinks were in order, so we went to Taco Bell. And lets just pause on this for a second, I want everyone who reads this to go to TB right now and order their Frutista! The strawberry one is preferred, but if you like mango then that's fine too. This is the most sugary-serendipity-sensation I've ever tasted! It was totally awesome! Anyway, continuing with last night. After the incredible discovery of Frutistas, we came back to my house and watched the Wedding Date (so cute) AND The Holiday (so cute!!!). And then went to bed. All the while dreaming of Jude Law and how utterly gorgeous he is.

Well, I'm off to the park. My new favorite thing to do around lunch time is to take a great book and go read in the park. It's so relaxing! I encourage everyone to try it sometime. xoxo

Today, I will conquer the world

Well, I'm going to school this summer! Yay! Im pretty excited. I actually start in like 20 days. So thats good.

Life is crazy right now, my sister is getting married next month so we're all in a wild frenzy trying to get everything together on time. My mom and I still have yet to find the right dress for the reception, and because I am so picky I decided that instead of buying 5 different dresses that I kind of like, ripping them apart and sewing together the pieces that I loved, I would just make my own.....unfortunately Ive never made a dress before. We'll see how that turns out.

Im going on a blind date tonight. My cousin's boyfriend set me up with his friend, for the sake of privacy lets call him...Dan, well le boyfriend gave Dan my number and last night he gave me a call. He's pretty funny, and we're going out for desert tonight.

Anyway, I've got to go finish sewing....I hope it turns out. xoxo

Just a little about me, I've been in the same state my whole life except for a year ago when I moved to Connecticut to be a nanny. I love traveling and hope that after school that I can travel the globe. I one sister, two brothers, and a half sister whom I love dearly.

I love to dance, ski, watch movies, go paintballing, river rafting, ice skating, swimming, hiking, play sports (although Im not very good at them, I still love to play), watch sports, etc. If its fun and Im with friends, I basically love to do anything.

Alright, I think thats a good enough intro into my life.
