Quote of the day

I have recently fallen upon a lovely book that I find quite interesting. It is called the "Perpetual Inspirational Calendar". And it is this cute little flip book with a quote for every single day of the whole year! Anyway, as I was flipping through this lovely little book, I came upon some really great quotes, and I've decided that here is where I will post any quotes and comments that I simply adore.Also, it is my new responisbillity to send Jen a quote every day for the rest of the year, so Jen, if I miss one, then just check this blog, because it will probably be posted here.However, I do not feel that I will be posting every single day for the rest of the year. So sometimes there might be multiple quotes in one blog. As it is, here we start with yesterday's quote.
July 14: "...a friend is an Angel in disguise."
I definately agree with this quote. Friends are AWESOME. You can never have enough friends, but I must add that a TRUE friend is an Angel in disguise. It is hard to find really really great friends, the ones you will keep for a lifetime. And Im not saying those friends you'll keep forever, but your only communication is a Christmas Card every year. No, Im talking about the friends who are a part of your every day life. Whom you speak to at least once a week, the friends who think about you all the time when you're out of town, wondering what extravagent adventure you're about to embark on, and hoping you'll be safe. These friends who should have been your brother or sister, but God knew you needed them as a friend instead. These are the real Angels in disguise. I have been blessed with many great Angels in my life, and I have come to realize (as I've been writing this blog) that I do not express my thanks and appreciation enough. So I would like to first off thank my Mom for being the greatest friend I'll ever have, and for always being there whenever I needed you. I love you Mom. Thank you Denisha and Alex for being my friends, and even though Dr. D is now retired, I know you'll always have my back. Thank you Hayley for all the wonderful "girl's night out"s that we've had together. I will never forget 80's Night and really really tight spandex! (hehe) Thank you Tamera for being my military support. And for our pizza and movie nights. Thank you Eric for always knowing how to put a smile on my face.Thank you Leslie for creating G-runs and Canyon Drives. Thank you Natasha for all our conversations of live via siting in the car eating ice cream. =) Thank you Jess for being awesome! Thank you for loving to go bowling with me all the time Chels, and for being my S.T. Dictionary. Thank you Britni and Bre for being the greatest sisters in the world! Thank you Scott, Trev, and Ty for being so studly its almost unbearable. Thank you to a secret someone who put the biggest smile on my face yesterday! That was increadible!! Basically I just wanted to tell everyone who's ever been an inspiration to me, or lifted me up when they didnt even know it, Thank you for being my Angel in disguise!
