Moderation of "Kisses"

Just so everyone knows, I did not teach Ellie anything about FRENCH KISSES. She asked how Belle kissed, I couldnt think of anything quickly enough so I just did double kisses!
I just thought that I'd let everyone know, Elisabeth does not know what French kissing is.
Gee wiz.

Kisses

Oh my goodness, today was SO funny! Elisabeth was cracking me up!!
I taught her how to do butterfly kisses, doggy kisses, fishy kisses, Belle kisses, and people kisses.

Butterfly kisses: blinking eyelashes on their cheek.
Doggy kisses: rubbing noses together.
Fishy kisses: make fish lips and kiss.
Belle kisses: (basically french kisses) kiss on both cheeks.
People kisses:....well. just a normal kiss.

So she just got a crack out of all of these kisses, and in between each one she would say "Tight squeeze!" and give me a huge hug! (she was sitting on my lap). And then once we had gone through the whole list of kisses a few times she started making up weird named kisses that ended up just being a normal kiss, or a kiss on the cheek. UNTIL. After a really silly "tight squeeze" she said "MAN KISSES!" and shoved her face right against my chest, then she just rested her head there for a few seconds, sat back up and grinned this huge cheeser grin. I asked, "Ellie, what are 'Man kisses'?" and she said, "MAN KISSES!" and again stuck her face right against my chest! Oh my heavens, I started laughing SO hard I couldnt breathe for at least 30 seconds! I just had to get on and blog about it. hah. Anyway, I've got to go, but I just thought I'd warn everyone about the new "Man kisses". hehe. Beware!
Oh how children know so much, and yet so little at the same time.

Swimming

Oh my gosh! I just had to post this because it was so so funny! Today Stephanie took Nathan to the doctors, so Ellie and I went swimming at their club pool. While we were there she was running from the "big pool" to the "hot pool" and enjoying every minute.
Once while we were in the "hot pool" with the bubbles swarming all around us, she raised her arms to find white all up her hands and forearms.
"LOOK!! I have pretty pretty Cinderella gloves!"
I was laughing so hard! So for the next hour we made short gloves, long gloves, hand gloves, finger gloves, and body gloves (the last ones didnt work out as well as we had hoped)
Oh the imagination of a child. .... I love it!

Weddings and such

Do not fear everyone, the mono is gone-o! hehe. It really wasnt that big of a deal, although I do apologize to anyone if they caught the dreadful thing because of me. Outside of work I always forgot about this so I'd share drinks and food. hehe. oops.
So in the time that it has been since I've written, my lovely friend Leslie Martinez became Leslie CHRISTENSEN! =) and I am so so so so happy for her and Cade. They are adorable and Les looked exquisit at her reception. Also my lovely Whitney Gleave became life long - eternity long soul mates with the dashing Ryan Howes. Their reception was amazing! It was held at the Grand America Hotel in SLC, and, wow-I tell you what, wow!
So anyway, all the friends are getting married, yay. Marriage is cool...(or so I've heard)
Alsho I jusht resheived newsh that my wonderful friend
Lindshay Miller
ish
ENGAGED!
to
Ryan Sh. Francshish!
(hehe Ryan your last name is funny in Nicole and Lindsay language!)
And I couldnt be more thrilled for the two of them. I KENW they would get marreid, they're simply perfect for each other!! So happy thoughts to them both!!
As for myself, I am really not doing anything absolutely thrilling. Just working, and waiting for school to start, and hanging out. So until next time.....xoxo

Catching up....

I realize I haven't written in a while, but that is only because I have nothing to write about. Life has been about the same, work is great (when Ellie decides to have a good day), home is great, friends are great, etc.etc.
I've been sick for a few weeks. Dizzy spells, light headed, nauseous, achy muscles, constant migraines that could kill a horse, and blacking out. Well mom didn't like that too much so she took me in, which I didn't like to much. Yesterday mom texted me with the results. This was the convo. "Hey don't share food, drinks, or kiss the kids. You have mono."
"SHUT UP! Are you serious!?! I haven't even kissed anyone for months!"
"HAHA, just make sure to sleep when you get tired. Love you."

I couldnt believe it. Mono? Seriously!! Apparently you can get it other ways then just kissing people. Yuck. I imediately thought of my great friend Rossana! Hey Ross, remember when you first got here, and school had just barely started and you got mono? And I brought you an Oreo/Banana shake!! Those were so yummy!! =) I miss you Ross!!! Love you sweetie!
Anyway, now Im washing my hands like every two minutes, and Im taking super precautions with little Nathan, because I dont want him to get sick. But I feel bad because I just love that kid! He's so so so adorable! Anyway, I just thought I'd catch up. But I'll write again when something interesting happens.....who knows how long that could take. hehe. Ciao!

The Weekend (sigh)

Wow, my weekend was .... terrible. First, my uncle died, so we had to drive to Idaho Falls for the funeral service. That was so sad. Im going to miss him a lot, we went camping together every year, and to think that he wont be there anymore is..... well it just doesnt seem right.
Also, on thursday I started getting sick. I have no idea what Im sick with, and unfortunately it just comes and goes as it pleases, so I have no idea what brings it on. (stupid diseases with minds of their own.)
I also came to the knowledge of some stupid little girl, we'll call her Meg, who doesnt like me (still) because I have history with her boyfriend, we'll call him Bob (hehe..bob). She thinks Im going to try and steal him away, and bonus! She's become friends with Bob's little brother(Fred)'s girlfriend, we'll call her Sue. Well, Meg found out that Sue and I are very good friends because we went to school together, and we have endured many ruthless days of Brother Copier's(ugh) terrible class. So. Needless to say, we're close. Closer then Meg wanted us to ever be. So when we saw each other (she came to town for the week) we did the whole screamy/hugging/jumping up and down girl thing. And that did not set well with Meg. No sir. She was not happy. Pissed, actually. So then, she makes Sue tell me to "stay away from Meg's 'man'. Otherwise you'll be sorry. And dont go around kissing him either." Oh gee. I couldnt believe it. I was trying to be nice to Meg. I even told her I liked her dress. Of course she didnt pay any attention to me, or the fact that I was even speaking to her, but at least I tried. Anyway, sorry, this was kind of a venting paragraph. Onto the rest of the weekend.
And last but not least yesterday I found out that a friend from high school, Carolyn Shinners, commited suicide in her father's house in Boston. I am so sad! Carolyn was awesome! We loved her so much!! And there was no question at all that she was the greatest hockey player on the team! (At least the most entertaining to watch anyway. hehe) Carolyn wasnt afraid to get dirty. She'd go to into "the box" at least once a game! Oh yeah, she was the best! Anyway, I am very sad, because she was such a great girl. Please everyone pray for her family. Thanks.

E.R.

I have just realized that I have not blogged about my absolutely hysterical Sunday afternoon that I had 4 days ago.
So I got home from church, and Tea and I were supposed to go do engagements for one of her friends, so I texted her asking when we were leaving and where all we were going so I would know what to wear. The reply I received was not exactly what I expected.
"Not going anymore"
"Broke my butt"
"Going to ER"
I totally freaked!
"Oh my heck!! Do you want me to come with you??"
"Yeah if you're here in two seconds"
"Running out the door."
I got to Tamey's house right as her mom was walking her out to the car. She was taking one step a second. It was .... really really funny and really really sad at the same time. So we hop in the car, and I asked what happened. Well it turns out that her mom had gotten one of those blow up slides for the grand kids. They were all playing on it and they wanted Tamey to go down with them. Well, all the kids were jumping from the top to the bottom of the slide, so Tea was like,
"Hey mom, should I jump??"
Mom, totally not thinking about the consequences said,
"Sure, go ahead."
(this was the jump)
And then she landed on the foot of padding at the bottom. Unfortunately, even as teeny as she is, she was just a little bit heavier then the little kids that were jumping. And she landed right on her toosh, with no padding from the slide. With the air totally knocked out of her she huffed out an almost silent worried cry,
"Mommmm!"
They ran upstairs so she could throw on some clothes, and met me at the car.
After sitting in the waiting room for, like, ever, haha and playing "I spy with my little eye,..." in the fish tank, we finally fell asleep on the benches.
"Tamera Wolsey....?"
YAY!
The lady led us and one other guy to our rooms, haha, but Tamey wasnt really moving very quick and the automatic doors closed on us. We had to get hospital authorization to get through them. By the time we got through we had no idea where to go. So we kind of waddled around the corner until the nurse came looking for the cripple.
Once we got to Tamey's room, I went crazy. The ADD totally started kicking in, like really bad. I was touching everything. And spinning around on the doctor's little foot stool of a chair. Eventually I ended up grabbing one of the "non-latex" latex gloves. I blew a few up like balloons, but I couldnt figure out how to tie them off, so then I ended up just playing sling-shot with them. Trying to make it into the garbage can. Now, Im not blessed with the best aim in the whole world. So the few times that the glove actually went in the direction of the trash can, it didnt make it in. All the other times, as I stretched the glove back, I let go with the wrong hand and it either flew behind me, almost smacking Tea's mom, or it snapped me in the neck. BONUS, Im not smart enough to let go, and just get up and throw it away myself, I had to keep playing with it. So I got snapped by the "non-latex" latex glove about 3-4 times, and ended up with a red welt/line on my neck.
I had had enough. So I threw that ballooned glove away......and picked up a new fresh one. =) With this glove I practiced blowing it up as large as I could.
Eventually I even got it tied off, so we played Hot-Potato with the "utter-like" glove.
Thats when I got the novel idea to put a face on our little friend!! I whipped out my handy dandy pen and went to work. Mom and Tea were so worried I was going to pop him. hehe. but I did not. No I made him handsome and dashing.....with coke-bottle glasses, freckles, and braces.
hehe.
Every girl's dream man.
Unfortunately I did not take into consideration that this was a smudgy pen, and "Georgey" was a very "non-latex" latex glove. So one pass up in the air, and the first hand-on contact that he had, totally wiped his face off....and again, it was me who had to be smart enough to get pen all over my skin. Darn. So I ended up popping him and sending him to join the rest of his fellow glovers in the trash can.
Enter: Doctor "I take forever getting to a patient" Sander-something-or-another.
"Okay, so I hear you fell off the slide."
(snickering from the peanut gallery)
"Uh, ..Yes"
"Well we're going to take you for some x-rays, and I'll get you some meds to ease the pain a little."
"K."
Exit: Doctor Nothing.
A few minutes later....
Enter: Nurse "I am so bored with my life right now"
"Okay I have your shot here."
This shot was going straight for her butt.
"Oh no!" (Tamey)
She grabbed her mom's hand and mine, and started squeezing for dear life. Even as the nurse was sterilizing the skin, Tamera was hyperventalating....okay, she wasnt hyperventalating, she just wasnt breathing at all!! We had to tell her,
"Breathe!"
"Breathe!"
"Tamey, Breathe!"
(nurse) "Okay here it comes."
STAB
SCREAM
"BREATHE TAMEY, BREATHE!"
"It's okay, its all over, you're okay."
".....are you okay?"
Sigh.
Finally, a breath.
And then after that, the morphine kicked in......
hehe. This is where we had fun.
The nurse came and took her away for x-rays, and by the time she brought her back it was only a few minutes before she came in saying nothing was broken, we could go home now. They were going to go get a little blow-up donut for her to sit on, and we could leave.
So the nurse walks out, and we got Tamera up to change out of the nighty gown...(hehe those crack me up) As she stands up, she was RIGHT NEXT to the wall and she says,
"Hey, there's a wall right here."
BAHAHA HAHAHA HAHA HA HAHAHA HA HA HAHA HA!
No way Tamey? There is really a wall right there? OH MY GOSH!
HA!
We were laughing so hard.
Tea on morphine really is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time! She said some of the funniest things!
Anyway, after leaving the E.R. we ordered pizza, and went home. Tea and I ate a whole pizza ourselves while watching Coyote Ugly, and then we both crashed.
The End.

Dreaming of Distand Lands to Come, Photography, Red Vines, and Etcetera.

In result of my most recent life tragedy, I have decided to be more selfish and make goals to accomplish some of my dreams!! Some are already in motion, and others have been planned this day. I will here and now document my goals and hope to accomplish them in the next 5 years.

Goal 1:
Finish Hair School
I will be starting MATC Cosmetology in October, and I am SO excited. I'll be doing night school mon-thursday, and then day school fri-sat. So if anyone needs their hair done just let me know!! I'd be glad to assist!! =)
Because most of my school time will be at night, I probably wont finish school for about two years. I'll be trying, however, to finish as fast as physically possible.

Goal 2:
Work and Save Money
After I graduate from MATC then I want to work for a while to save up as much as I can so that I can accomplish goal number 3............
(hehe, random giggle.
Im getting excited)

Goal 3:
Live in Australia
This is the goal that I am the most excited about. I have always dreamed of going to Australia, I was close once. I was going to go for a foreign exchange program my senior year, but the organization I went through was .......... unprofessional to say the least. Needless to say, I didnt make it. So now, Im planning on moving there for a year or two, just for kicks and giggles. hehe.
It makes me happy just thinking about it right now.
I cant wait.
AAHHHHHHHH!
Seriously, this is my excitement leaking out of my soul!! It keeps me going day by day. And I just love the thought that I could actually get to do this. Living in Brisbane Australia. Right in the city!! That would be the greatest thing I could ever imagine!!
I could make so many new friends!
Oh how I love new friends.
Now, dont get me wrong, I love the friends I have now. Like more then anything! They're fantasticly awesome. But friends are like shoes, you cant EVER have to many. hehe. And aussies are AWESOME!
haha I cant wait, anyway, thats dream numero tres. And the last one on my list so far.

Tea and I have become addicted to photography! Its so bad. We have WAY to many photos of us. hehe not that Im really complaining, becaues we have SO much fun with the camera...especially since we got the remote!! Anyway, here are some of our wonderful pictures we've taken. I do adore this girl! She's one of my bestest friends in the westest. hehe.
As you can tell, there is a possibility that we spend to much time together.

HA! We couldnt resist the dollar store lingerie!!

Girl time! hehe We bonded.

The #1 DEADLIEST snakes in the Dollar Store!!
Well,.............what can I say? If the pillow fits!!!
HAHA! Tamera is my knight in shining....plastic. =)

We had way to much fun at Wendys one night. Looking at the photo on the right, you will see that yes we did indeed have a straw war. And the photo on the right, well.....Tea likes Ranch.
I have recently discovered that I absolutely adore with the fullness of my soul....Red Vines Licorice! oh my heavens, it is so so so so so so yummy! We bought the big HUGE can thingy of them, you know, the one that has like 200 licorice in it! And I've eaten just about the whole thing all by myself! They are so good. Right when they were gone, I ran to Walmart to grab some more. ... Apparently its my new comfort food.
Etcetera would probably include the fact that I am home alone righ tnow. And no one is with me. All alone.
Just me,
myself,
and I.
However, James and Ryan are supposed to be hanging out with me tonight! Im SO excited that they are home!! Im sure they arent that excited, because its hard to live somewhere for so long and grow to love the people around you, and then have to leave them. But I know I sure am glad to have them home! I havent even seen Ry yet! He called me the other day. It was pretty funny because I know a few Ryans, and so for a minute when he was like, "Uh, hey. This is Ryan." I had NO idea which Ryan was actually calling me.
But then I realized it was him, and excitement filled my body.
Yay me!!
Im so glad to finally have my friends home.
Except for some reason Ryan thinks he has to leave us and go two bloody hours away for schooling. HA. Who needs schooling anyways.
Okay, I guess we all do. So all is forgiven.
I heart Secondhand Serenade.
Period.
Who invented Q-tips?
Whoever it was, they were brilliant! And I love them.
Oh, haha....
Nanny Diaries: Entry 4
I guess Jake gave Nathan some laxatives last night, unfortunately he relented to pass this information along to the nanny, so today I got squishy, yucky, poop all down the front of my cute shirt. It seriously looked like my shirt was tyedye! I couldnt believe it! haha Just my luck. Ellie was very good today, we had lots of fun. Stephanie bought these mini corn dogs, and we tried some for lunch. We called them "mini weeniers". Quite entertaining.
Anyways, I've got to go, because hopefully Im going to hang out tonight with my buddies.
And if not with them, then Im goign on a date with my daddy.
He wants to take me to lunch.
At MODEL A CAFE!!!
hehe. Leslie, remember when we wanted to work there together.
Oh funny days.
Peace, Love, and much Happiness.
xoxo

Nanny Diaries: Entry 3

Wow, who would have thought that a 3yr old could throw so many tantrums?? Or rather, one really really really long tantrum. Today Ellie was not a happy girl. And unfortunately, her tantrums now not only include crying in the corner, but also;
Screaming at the top of her lungs
Running away
Kicking
Punching
Throwing her toys at us
Slamming doors
Replacing every word in her vocabulary for the word "no"
(which was also screamed at the top of her lungs)
And refusing to sleep even though you could see how tired she was.
It was a very interesting day.
Luckily I have just been offered free food!! I love it when that happens!
hehe, so now Im off to FHE! =)
